EasyMesh fiasco

I had to work with the Linksys engineer to upgrade firmware on both routers before proceeding to establish Master-Slave link. This necessitated the download of latest firmware, which was a step that ViewQwest engineer did not request to perform.

ViewQwest engineer was sincere, but probably lacked the necessary knowledge on standard procedure to upgrade firmware. We spent more than an hour trying to reset the router, over and over again, without any success. The only resolution was to send the router back to Linksys. Actually, now that I have worked out the solution with Linksys, the new router (after exchange) would not have made the difference either.
